Our Board of Directors

Lesley Pinckney

“Meet Lesley Pinckney: idea cultivator, tech enthusiast, and founder of The Big Idea Catalyst, who’s on a mission to make cool stuff that actually works.
She’s got a knack for seeing what others miss and turning “what if?” into “what’s next!” — creating brands people connect with and delivering real results. Her secret? Believing that every game-changing idea can find its people.
As the brains behind The Big Idea Catalyst, Lesley creates environments where creativity runs wild (but with purpose!). No idea-shaming is allowed-just honest collaboration that gets things done. Her company tackles three big challenges: getting teams comfortable with Al without the panic, launching products people actually want, and hosting Big Idea Labs that turn “meh” into
“wow!”

Ruth Akontoh

“Ruth Akontoh brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the Kerry K Foundation. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Ruth currently works as a teacher at Primrose School of Plainfield. Her journey with the foundation began in Ghana, where she served as Executive Director of the Ghana branch for 4 years. During her tenure, she oversaw the successful donation of over 2,000 pairs of shoes to communities in need.

Now based in the United States, Ruth has joined the Board of Directors to continue advancing the foundation’s mission of empowering lives and fostering global impact. Her passion for education, community service, and making a difference remains at the heart of her work.”

We envision a future where all children, regardless of their disparities, have equal opportunities in reaching their fullest potentials.
